RITE Workplace Leadership
RITE Workplace Leadership for Houston Metro Transit Authority Police Department (METRO Police Department) is a private training by invitation only. Created to improve communication skills and an overall workplace culture for all police and corrections officers, sworn and civilians. RITE Academy has delivered training to over 500 government, universities, corporate clients and military agencies.
METRO has taken proactive measures to give their police leaders RITE training and tools that will help improve communication in the agency and on the streets. Teaching critical components that include both Emotional Intelligence (EI) and Social Intelligence (SI), that improves resiliency awareness, as well as personal and professional relationships.

Emotional Intelligence is being aware of our emotions, and to acknowledge that emotions can drive behavior that impacts others (positively and negatively). Social Intelligence is how we effectively navigate and negotiate all social relationships and situations.
RITE Tools, like the Emotional Energy Ladder (in this photo), makes us aware of our emotions, how we affect others, and that only we have the power to make those changes. Racism lives at the bottom of the Ladder with Hate. Bias-free lives at the top of the Ladder with Love, Gratitude and Joy.
Great leadership begins and ends with doing the RITE thing, and helping others do the same.

RITE Professional Workplace Training
RITE’s Professional Workplace Training is nationally recognized in creating a bias-free, harassment-free workplace. Our teaching approach is unique and the training is fun, engaging, and reinforces company values of having a professional workplace culture not just for some, but for all employees, top to bottom.
Each student will get a RITE Tool Kit to learn from, and use in class with each other, and beyond. These are designed to share with loved ones at home, and at work well after the training day.
