RITE Train-the-Trainer for San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office (California)
July 15 - July 16

RITE’s 2-Day Train-the-Trainer certifies instructors to teach all facets (up to 12 CE Credits) of the RITE program, to the agency officers, recruits, as well as sworn and non-sworn employees, including 911 operators.
How we react to a volatile situation is key. This training dramatically improves officer’s Emotional Response when engaging with others, especially in pressure situations.
Emotional health issues pose a big risk to public service officer’s well-being. RITE classes help officers learn to recognize signs and symptoms of stress, PTSD, and suicidal thoughts, and offer ways to build up positive mental health.
RITE Tools reinforce mental health and wellness, for every agency employee, sworn and non-sworn. Trainers learn how to use RITE Tools and modules of Emotional and Social Intelligence, to develop skills for Officer well-being, De-escalation Communication, PTSD awareness, and Career resiliency, which all builds morale and community trust.
Employees have voted RITE as one of the best classes they’ve ever had!
Everyone in class receives their own RITE Tool Kit for continued learning, laying the groundwork for positive engagement, and improved communication. Without these tools, RITE would be just another ‘check the box,’ one-and-done training.
Emotional health issues are a known risk to an officer’s health and well-being. This training is a MUST for every first responder.
