RITE Leadership Classes @San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office (California)
March 10 - March 11

RITE Leadership Classes include emotional and social intelligence skill-building lessons.
RITE’s Unique Tools reinforce agency accountability across all departments that helps to promote a professional workplace for all employees. Each student receives their own RITE Kit filled with Tools they use in class and well beyond. We take Public Safety Wellness to a holistic level, improving lives personally and professionally.
Emotional health issues pose a big risk to public service officer’s well-being. RITE classes help officers learn to recognize signs and symptoms of stress, PTSD, and suicidal thoughts, and offer ways to build up positive mental health.
“RITE Training benefits ALL (Fire, Police, Corrections) in Public Service”
Why RITE Training works in Public Service
RITE’s critical components of both Emotional Intelligence (EI) and Social Intelligence (SI), helps anyone in public service, improve communication on many levels. These classes help to improve resiliency awareness, as well as personal and professional relationships.
Employees have voted RITE as one of the best classes they’ve ever had!
RITE Tools, like the Emotional Energy Ladder (in this photo), makes us aware of our emotions, how we affect others, and that only we have the power to make those changes.
Anger, Hate, and Blame, all live at the bottom of the RITE Ladder. Although we all can feel those emotions during our day, learning how to control them, is key to great leadership. Bias-free engagement, lives at the top of the Ladder with Love, Gratitude, Joy, and Confidence.
