DESCRIPTION:RITE Leadership in Chicago\nPrivate Training:\nRITE Leadership Training at Chicago Police Department is a 1-day private class open to Chicago Police Leaders ONLY. Originally designed for police and corrections departments\, RITE Academy has delivered training to multiple government agencies\, military\, universities\, corporate clients and NGOs. \n  \nCPD has taken proactive measures to give their police officers RITE training and tools that will help improve communication and reduce any bias-based tension. Teaching critical components of both Emotional Intelligence (EI) and Social Intelligence (SI)\, improves resiliency awareness\, as well as personal and professional relationships. \n  \nPro-active steps towards Chicago’s Mission\n“The Chicago Police Department\, as part of\, and empowered by\, the community\, is committed to protect the lives\, property\, and rights of all people\, to maintain order\, and to enforce the law impartially. \nWe will provide quality police service in partnership with other members of the community. To fulfill our mission\, we will strive to attain the highest degree of ethical behavior and professional conduct at all times..” \n– CPD Mission and Values \n\n  \nGeorgia Chief tells CBS News “This is how RITE Training has benefited our Officers\, our Community and our City.”\n\n\nEmotional Intelligence is being aware of our emotions\, and to acknowledge that emotions can drive behavior that impacts others (positively and negatively). Social Intelligence is how we effectively navigate and negotiate all social relationships and situations. \n\nRITE Tools\, like the Emotional Energy Ladder (in this photo)\, makes us aware of our emotions\, how we affect others\, and that only we have the power to make those changes. Racism lives at the bottom of the Ladder with Hate.
